Throughout the world there are thousands and thousands of diehard fans and admirers of Deep Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath. Some of them drive their admiration so far that they play their music in coverbands as a tribute to those musicians we admire so much as well. The technical qualities of these groups are sometimes fantastic and they have a wide and sometimes international group of admirers of their own.

Purple Rainbow, what's in a name?
Purple Rainbow is a tribute to the legendary rock bands Deep Purple and Rainbow. They, and especially guitar player Ritchie Blackmore, inspired Mario Roelofsen to form Purple Rainbow. And don't be fooled, Purple Rainbow isn't one of those 'cover' bands.
Purple Rainbow is a real 'Tribute" to the one and only Deep Purple and Rainbow.
A band that sounds 'as close as it can get'!

The setlist includes Deep Purple songs like Highway Star, Child in Time, Smoke on the Water, Fireball and Speed King.

A great setlist with naturally superhits like Highway Star, Burn, Mistreated, Child in Time, My Woman from Tokyo and lets not forget Smoke on the Water. The sound of the seventies, the sound of Deep Purple... that is Purple Strangers, a wonderful Purple tribute from Holland.

Besides the so much loved nostalgic hardrockcovers, MissTreated has started to play their own music. This resulted in 2002 in their first album : *Missbehavin* and a promotiontour. The history of this band started in 1991 as a hard-rock-cover-band. The name came from a beloved purple song Mistreated and the extra *s* was added due to a female singer which gave this band its extra identity. After almost 10 years the bandmember follewed a path of their own to broaden the horizon Now their are looking for 2 new band members : a gitarist and drummer. This band was founded in 1995 by Tore and Knuppen at a rather beer filled night. Knuppen had no band (again) and Tore wanted to play Rock 'n' Roll. They got in touch with Ottar and asked if he would like to sing, he accepted although he never has sung before. Then they got 2 guitarists in, Havard and Jorn-Are. The band was then called X-Files, You do not believe it when you heard it!

After many, many, many personnel changes they got in Lars on guitar and Magnus on Organ/Keyboards. Now they only play their favorite music, Deep Purple, and changed the name to Perfect st. Rangers, and became:
